The 32nd Annual Corporate and Community Spelling Bee

The 32nd Annual Corporate and Community Spelling Bee presented by the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office is right around the corner! We are so excited to raise funds to give our students the opportunity to learn to read and find success. We invite you to be a major leadership donor in our Spelling Bee. Designer Purse Bingo

The 31st Annual Corporate and Community Spelling Bee is right around the corner! We are so excited to be raising money to give our students the opportunity to learn to read and find success. Volunteers Needed!

We are recruiting volunteers for all of our programs. Volunteers are needed for Creating Young Readers in Elementary Schools, Monday – Friday at various times during the school day. Volunteers are needed at the library during after school hours. And volunteers are needed to work with adults Monday – Friday at various locations and times. If you would like to help a child or adult in one of our programs, please contact us at 419-242-7323. Our volunteers tell us that the time they give to their students is the best part of their week. Amazing Race for Literacy – March 10

The 11th Annual Amazing Race to benefit Read for Literacy and Claire’s Day will be held on March 10. Your team of 4 will be given over 75 clues and 1.5 hours to find them as many as you can! Giving Tuesday

For thirty years, Read for Literacy has helped children, adults, and families improve their literacy skills to improve their lives. On Giving Tuesday you can help Read for Literacy by making a donation to one of our signature lines of service. Your donation will support Adult and Family Literacy, Creating Young Readers, Claire’s Day, and Volunteer and Literacy Outreach.
