    Attend the Toledo Walleye Game at the Huntington Center on March 22nd at 5:00 PM. Purchase a puck for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00 and you will have the chance to win a Toledo Walleye Jersey. 75% of all proceeds from the Chuck-A-Puck sold before the game (pre-order), or at the game will be donated to Read for Literacy.     More than 1,150 participants are engaged in learning; from reading books to learning life skills for the workplace, our student needs are met through individualized goals.

    Change the Life of a Child

    Our programs excite a love of learning through reading in preschools, elementary schools and other community settings to increase early literacy skills in children aged three years through second grade.

  • English Language Learners

    Learn English

    Affords speakers of other languages the opportunity to improve their English language speaking, reading and writing skills. Additionally, Read for Literacy volunteers assist students in preparing for completion of their US Citizenship test.
