    Join Us This Summer and Read!

    Do you love to read? Do you have an hour a week this summer? Well, have we got a great opportunity for you! Join us at one of 23 different preschools, schools or libraries as we Create Young SUMMER Readers! Help prevent summer slide by encouraging young people to continue to read all summer long. We are looking for volunteers aged 15 and up so this is a great chance for teens and adults. Contact us at 419-242-7323 for more information and to volunteer!

    Our programs excite a love of learning through reading in preschools, elementary schools and other community settings to increase early literacy skills in children aged three years through second grade.

  • English Language Learners

    Learn English

    Affords speakers of other languages the opportunity to improve their English language speaking, reading and writing skills. Additionally, Read for Literacy volunteers assist students in preparing for completion of their US Citizenship test.
