    Share the Love of Reading

February is a month for celebrations honoring Love, Black History, Presidents and this year, Leap Year! Here at Read for Literacy, our volunteers and students are celebrating their LOVE OF READING, too. With your help we have shared our love of reading with 2940 children, adults and families and provided literacy outreach and author/illustrator visits to more than 15,260 additional students. Our services are bursting as the LOVE OF READING comes to life! We are inviting you to make a donation to our SHARE YOUR LOVE OF READING CAMPAIGN. Your generous gifts are needed in the weeks ahead to provide all of the materials and resources our students need to achieve success! 100 Volunteers in 100 Days - 65 to Go!

We are so excited to report that in November we placed 35 new volunteers! We are working hard to recruit 65 more - maybe one of them is you!? We will be training volunteers in January and February and would love to see you there! Think of all the things you do because you can read. Now imagine not being able to do them. Just a small amount of your time can make a difference for someone who is trying hard to do all of the things that reading allows - cooking new recipes, helping children with homework, succeeding in school, so many things! Please call 419-242-7323 and learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a new reader today!
