    Read for Literacy staff are cleaning out files and records and we need your help. As we work to update our volunteer records, we need to hear from you! If you have been a volunteer for us and we haven't heard from you lately, please give us a call.     The Blade's 29th Annual Corporate & Community Spelling Bee is Oct 27!

    For nearly 30 years, Read For Literacy has been a leading advocate in Lucas, Wood, and Seneca Counties. When you support Read for Literacy, you give the most powerful gift of all – the ability to read! Join us on October 27 for this fun event and help children, adults, and families in our community gain the literacy skills they need to do well in school, get better jobs, and succeed. This is a spelling bee like no other – Laughter is encouraged! Words aren’t spelled aloud! Work as a team! And most of all, we want you to have fun! The event will be held at The Pinnacle, 1772 Indian Wood Cir, Maumee, OH 43537. Doors Open at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:15 a.m. The program will begin at 12:15 p.m. And the Spelling Bee will be from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. We look forward to a fabulous bee!
